The best new eateries in Flushing’s Chinatown

(New York Post) This weekend, as the 26th annual Hong Kong Dragon Boat Festival in New York takes to the waters of Flushing Meadows Corona Park’s Meadow Lake. The festival historically occurs around the summer solstice, but is also a chance to showcase Chinese culture and the hard-core sport.

After the races, hop back on the 7 train and go just one more stop to Flushing’s Main Street for a pan-Asian eating-and-drinking tour of one of the city’s most delicious neighborhoods. Olivia Fu — a 17-year veteran of the festival who has lived in the area for more than two decades — took The Post on a tasting of the newest, yummiest hot spots, all of which have opened in the past year.
