Leaf Bar & Lounge being nominated as one of the world’s best bars
(World’s Best Bar) Flushing, Queens has long been a destination for authentic Chinese and other East Asian cuisine and boasts a larger Chinatown than Manhattan. More recently it, like much of Queens, is getting a facelift thanks to luxury developments. Leaf Bar is an elegant oasis above a busy dining destination, located on the rooftop level of a new Hyatt Place hotel. The indoor-outdoor space is designed for casual socializing and the crowd is mixed but trends towards local young professionals out for a few drinks in their neighborhood, rather than schlepping to Manhattan.
