Soup Dumpling All-Star Nan Xiang Xiao Long Bao Is Back

(Eater NY)

Flushing food scene heavyweight Nan Xiang Xiao Long Baois back up and running, relocated to a major development down the street from its original location and with a flashy new menu.

Nan Xiang’s new, more than 5,000-square-foot space is located inside One Fulton Square (39-16 Prince Street, #104, at the corner of Prince Street and 39th Avenue). The added room will help the restaurant meet mounting demand, a general manager says. There’s seating for 150 diners, with a glassed-in open kitchen for customers to watch workers hand-wrap and steam the restaurant’s signature thin-skinned dumplings.

But it’s not just the dining room that’s gotten spiffed up. A new menu of dim sum dishes scream “2019,” including a “lucky six” selection of multi-colored XLB with deluxe ingredients (traditional pork; crab meat and pork; black truffle and Chinese squash; chicken; foie gras).
